Music Production in Action

After crafting homemade instruments out of various materials in the FabLab, Club teens recorded a cover of “Riptide” by Vance Joy featuring the instruments they fashioned earlier in the day.

Our recording studio, featured in the photo to the right, is a space where

Club members can go to learn more about music production including recording and editing songs.

Field Trips & Visits

2023 Newport Folk Festival

The Newport Festivals Foundation made an appearance at our summer camp, Camp Grosvenor, with musicians Steve Cerilli and Bill Cote kicking off the Newport Jazz Festival at the camp’s waterfront with an inspiring performance.

Our kids and teens had a blast listening to the guest musicians and had the opportunity to join in with maracas, tambourines, their voices, and dance moves, while Steve shared stories about songwriting and starting out his music career at a very young age with pillows and buckets as his instruments.
