Affordable Child Care

Boys & Girls Clubs of Newport County is Aquidneck Island’s only year-round childcare center for all school-aged youth to receive the five-star, BrightStars rating, Rhode Island’s Tiered Quality Rating and Improvement System (TQRIS).

Teen Center

Our enrichment programs spark creativity, curiosity, and connection through a wide variety of clubs and activities. Whether your child loves to paint in Art Club, dive into stories in Book Club, or explore their interests in Anime Club, there’s something for everyone to enjoy and grow through.

Summer Camp

Camp Grosvenor offers an exciting array of activities including a high/low ropes course, climbing wall, swimming, arts & crafts, archery, field games, water trampoline, dance, and more.

Aquatics

Our aquatic programs offer something for everyone—from beginners learning to swim to seasoned adults looking to stay active. With a wide variety of classes and training opportunities, we make it easy for all ages and skill levels to dive in and enjoy the water safely and confidently.

Athletics

Our youth sports programs help kids stay active, build teamwork, and have fun! From soccer and basketball to flag football and wrestling, there’s a sport for every interest and skill level—led by positive coaches who help kids grow both on and off the field.

Thanks for the wonderful swim lessons provided to the second graders by the Boys & Girls Club of Newport. This program has not only equipped our children with essential water safety skills but also given them the confidence to enjoy swimming, a lifelong and valuable activity. I would like to extend my deepest gratitude to the swim instructors - Josh, Sheryl, Jasmine, and Cheyanne - who worked so diligently and compassionately with the children. Their expertise, patience, and enthusiasm made a lasting impression on both the students and their families. Being a parent to a teenage boy is tough, uncharted territory for me, and, honestly, I don't have many good male role models for my son to look up to. It's been challenging to navigate, I just don’t know what to do or say sometimes, but I want to get straight to the point and give a huge shout out to the team at the Teen Center. Thank you so much for the support you've given my son. It truly is helping, and I appreciate all the care, patience, and guidance you've offered him. It means a lot to me and is making a real difference.
