Newport Yacht Rendezvous

NEWPORT, RI – The Boys & Girls Club of Newport County is thankful “From the Heart” to the many community members, yacht participants, board members, volunteers and guests who made this year’s Newport Yacht Rendezvous a successful night to remember! Over 425 guests attended this year’s event that featured nautical chic attire, a fun yacht hop across the docks, dinner along the waterfront and dancing and music by Z Studios (Peter Hatfield and Charlie Hoxie).

Sidewalk Parade and Tree Path Project

The Annual Sidewalk Parade and Tree Path Project will return to Newport’s North End neighborhood this spring. The event involves a growing collaboration with local non-profit organizations and residents, all in celebration of hope and community. The Sidewalk Parade + Tree Path Project Opening Celebration will take place on Saturday, April 27, 2019, 1pm – 3pm. 

Growing Together – Youth of the Year announced, other community members awarded!

Newport, RI: The Boys & Girls Club of Newport County’s 3rd Annual Growing Together Awards Event was held on Saturday, March 23rd at OceanCliff! Honoring the Past, Celebrating the Present and Building Great Futures, The Club paid tribute to generous friends who have supported the Boys & Girls Club for many years and also introduced the 2 Youth of the Year candidates. Leaders Champion R.I. Youth

Newport, RI – Groups of leaders, volunteers, supporters and youth representing Boys & Girls Clubs from across Rhode Island met with state lawmakers on Tuesday, March 27, 2019 as part of the group’s State Legislative Day. Participants advocated for the critical needs of kids and teens in R.I. and demonstrated the value Clubs bring to kids, families, and communities statewide.
