After achieving more than $12 million of their $15 million fundraising goal for renovations, the Boys and Girls Clubs of Newport County broke ground on July 9. These renovations are set to add about 8,000 square feet to the facility, renovate existing spaces, and update utilities. Joe Pratt, executive director and CEO of the Clubs, said that the renovations are “all about the kids. BGC Newport Receives Generous Holiday Donation from BankRI

This year’s BankRI Holiday Giving Tree program saw its largest collection ever, leading to 7,576 gifts to brighten the season for children across Rhode Island. On Aquidneck Island, the bank’s local branches collected more than 100 presents for kids served by the Boys & Girls Club of Newport County and Lucy’s Hearth.
